Already bought a kitchen? A kitchen fitter assembles the cabinets, levels them, fits the worktop, aligns the fronts and connects the sink, tap and appliances to the existing connections. The difference between wrestling through a weekend yourself and a kitchen fitted straight in one or a few days.
Expect € 1,500 to € 4,000 per kitchen, depending on size, type (a flat-pack takes more assembly work than pre-built cabinets) and whether the old kitchen still has to come out. Small connection jobs — tap, dishwasher, hob on an existing connection point — are simply part of it.
Good to know: many fitters measure a custom worktop only after the cabinets are in. Plan that order and allow for the delivery time of custom work — your fitter advises on this in the quote.
