In a complete renovation the kitchen goes back to the bare wall: old kitchen out, water, drainage and electrical connections checked or moved, new cabinets and worktop fitted, built-in appliances connected and the finish sealed tight. One specialist coordinates the whole job — fitter, installer and an electrician where needed.

Expect € 8,000 to € 25,000, depending on size, finish level and whether the layout changes. Moving connections is the biggest price driver: if the sink and hob stay where they are, that saves considerable chasing and demolition work.

Ask for a fixed price with a clear description of what is and is not included (removal, disposal of the old kitchen, connection work, sealing), and agree who your point of contact is during the renovation.
